Jay is a senior Equestrian Canada course designer. He has been named the course designing at tournaments spanning from Vancouver, Thunderbird, Blaineville, Florida, and Salt Lake.
“Working as a course designer has been a great learning experience. There are so many elements to the job that I was unaware of as a rider. You have to make each course work for the horse, rider, show management, footing, jump crew, schedule, etc. It is very challenging and interesting, and I greatly enjoy it.”
